Chailease Holding has expanded its short-term car rental services under the Chailease Auto Rental brand with the launch of the new "URiDE" car sharing brand. Chailease Holding Chairman Fong-long Chen stated that the sharing economy will maximize the utilization of vehicle resources, with the entire rental and return process digitalized and paperless, contributing to overall environmental carbon reduction. This environmentally friendly product and service creates a greener mobile lifestyle.

Chailease Holding focuses on a diversified niche markets strategy, implementing a diversified business offering. Chailease Auto Lease was founded in 2006 to provide long-term car lease services to businesses. In 2012, this service was expanded to the general public with the launch of Chailease Auto Rental, a short-term rental service to meet diverse consumer needs such as business and travel. Chailease Mobility Service was launched in 2023 alongside with the URiDE shared car rental brand to provide customers easy access to cars without having to own one.

In the initial stage of URiDE, about 70 service locations with more than one hundred vehicles will be set up in Taipei City and New Taipei City to provide same-station rental and return services. The public can download the URiDE app on their cellphones to become a member, and with every rental deal they will earn “U miles.” For every NT$100 rental, one U mile will be rewarded, and the members can build their balance of U miles to redeem for more discounts and special gifts. Members will also receive a free one-hour rental as a birthday gift.

After clients download the URiDE app, AI face and writing recognition technology is applied for a speedy authenticating process. The rental fees are charged by the hour, so that members can enjoy maximum flexibility when they need to use a car, without the constraint of time and location. The whole process is convenient and time-saving.

In the whole URiDE riding experience, all vehicles are equipped with both mobile networks and Bluetooth technology to ensure uninterrupted network connection for members. Moreover, we carry out inspections of car interior to ensure the cleanness and comfort of our rental vehicles. Also, we monitor the conditions of the rental vehicles in real time to ensure the safety of our members. Customer service is open for all day and night to assist our members in any problems they may encounter.
