Chailease Holding has been selected for the 12th consecutive year to receive the Taiwan Corporate Sustainability Awards (TCSA), organized by the Taiwan Institute of Sustainable Energy (TAISE). Backed by its outstanding overall sustainability performance, Chailease Holding has been named one of the “Taiwan Top 100 Sustainable Benchmark Enterprises” for the eighth time, and—owing to its transparent and comprehensive disclosures—has earned the “Sustainability Report Platinum Award” for the fourth consecutive year. As a trusted partner to small and micro enterprises (SMEs), Chailease Holding will continue, at every critical moment, to inject critical strength into the growth and resilience of SMEs.
To encourage industries to fulfill corporate social responsibility and advance sustainable development, TAISE has organized the Taiwan Corporate Sustainability Awards(TCSA) for 18 consecutive years. The 18th TCSA Awards Ceremony was held today (the 26th) in 2025. Mr. Chang Dou-Fan, Deputy General Manager of the Public Relations Department of Chailease Finance Co., Ltd., represented Chailease Holding in receiving the award from Ms. Huang Lin-Na, Deputy Minister of Labor.
Chailease Holding places sustainability at the core of its operations by integrating environmental protection, social responsibility, and corporate governance into daily management. Through the annual publication of its Sustainability Report, the Group regularly discloses sustainability strategies, targets, and actions. It continues to adopt internationally recognized standards and frameworks, including the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB), Taskforce on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD), and Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures (TNFD). The completeness and transparency of its sustainability disclosures have received high recognition.
Committed to promoting inclusive finance, Chailease Holding supports the development of SMEs by providing financial assistance and facilitating access to productive equipment, while also enhancing SMEs’ operational capabilities and ESG practices. Key initiatives include hosting SME strategy forums, publishing the book- Taiwan SMEs Growth Story, and delivering SME ESG self-assessment guidance, research reports, and training programs.
Following the severe rainfall caused by Typhoon Ragasa in September, which heavily impacted Hualien, Chailease offered affected customers repayment extension arrangements, assisted with the disposal of damaged vehicles, and supported subsidy applications. In November, the Group launched a video campaign honoring SMEs as a critical force in Taiwan’s economic development, while documenting Chailease’s role in providing timely support at pivotal moments (video link: https://youtu.be/s7Vao61aufo).
In addition, Chailease Holding emphasizes sustainable, shared growth with its employees. The Group was once again selected among the “Top 100 in the Commonwealth Talent Sustainability Award” by CommonWealth Magazine, and received the Silver Award for the Healthy Workplace Benchmark Award and the Badge of Accredited Healthy Workplace from the Ministry of Health and Welfare. It also earned the Taipei City Government’s the Parenting Friendly Enterprise Award (Outstanding Enterprise) and the Age-Friendly Workplace Certification. Beyond competitive compensation, benefits, and training systems, Chailease extends its care to family support, childcare, and retirement planning.
Since 2011, Chailease Holding has implemented an Employee Stock Ownership Trust Incentive Program, fully funded by the Company to purchase shares on behalf of employees. In addition to annual cash dividends, employees may receive the trust-held shares upon retirement—effectively building a second retirement fund.
Beginning in July this year, Chailease partnered with Ezfunds Securities Investment Consuliting Ltd to support the Financial Supervisory Commission’s Taiwan Individual Savings Account (TISA) initiative, administered by the Taiwan Depository & Clearing Corporation. Chailease became the first listed company in Taiwan to introduce TISA, encouraging employees to plan early for retirement. Through the Chailease Fund Platform, employees can establish dedicated accounts and adopt disciplined, long-term investment strategies. More than 60% of employees have opened TISA accounts, steadily accumulating assets to secure sufficient retirement savings and peace of mind in later life.
