Sustainability Yearbook - Chailease Holding had won the S&P Global Bronze Class Award

S&P Global today (February 1st ) announced the Sustainability Yearbook of 2022, and Chailease Holding had won theS&P Global Bronze Class " Award in the global Diversified Financial Services and Capital Markets Industry. Chailease Holding has once again been recognized for its sustainability efforts locally and worldwide.

In 2020 for the first time, Chailease Holding Company Limited has been named to both of the DJSI World Index and Emerging Markets indexes in the Diversified Financial Services and Capital Markets Industry and obtained S&P Global Industry Mover" in the 2021 sustainability Year book.

In 2021 November,  Chailease Holding Company Limited has once again been named to both DJSI World Index and Emerging Markets indexes for the second consecutive year (ranked 4th globally and 2nd in emerging market in the Diversified Financial Services and Capital Markets Industry ). Chailease Holding has long-term commitment to E (environment), S (society) and G (corporate governance), and our sustainability efforts have won international recognitions.

With the sustainable development goals and action plans, Chailease Holdings integrates environmental, social and corporate governance (ESG) into the company's operation strategy and further expands its positive influence, including the issuance of green bonds for projects such as renewable energy and green energy development; implementing the ESG evaluation factors to select our customers and partners.

Chailease Holding gradually expands its products and services from solar plant financing to investment. From the construction of rooftop solar power plants to the development of different size ground cases, it has now built more than 2,600 solar power plants with installed capacity totaling 900 MW at the end of 2021. At the same time, in response to the global trend of carbon reduction and electric vehicles, Chailease also invested in charger business, to be an active player in the green energy industry.

Moreover, Chailease Holding has set the goal of 100% use of renewable energy, and it will be accomplished by using green energy on a pro rata basis year by year.  The first step is to run on 50% green energy in Taiwan offices by 2030, and further extend to other branches in Taiwan and abroad.  The 100% use of green energy is set to be achieved in 2050 for carbon neutrality.
