Zingala Partnering with the E-Health Pay Mobile App to Provide Services in Hospitals

Zingala, a consumer installment payment feature of Chailease Consumer Finance Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Chailease Holding (TWSE Code:5871), has partnered with the E-Health Pay mobile app to expand its service. Hsiao-tung Li, Deputy General Manager of Chailease Consumer Finance, noted that the collaboration between E-Health Pay and Zingala offers a new option that requires no card linking or top-up, catering to the needs of diverse populations and helping those in urgent medical need seek immediate medical care to maintain their health.,

E-Health Pay is a mobile medical payment platform provided by Da Guang Healthcare Consulting Co. It offers a simple and secure medical bill payment service, allowing people to pay their fees on their mobile phone before picking up their medications, without having to queue at the billing counter. Dr. Mingyan Wu, Secretary-General of the Taiwan Private Medical Institutions Association, stated that the public has significantly reduced their medical consultation time by using the E-Health Pay app, and its adoption has increased significantly since its introduction.

Mingyan Wu pointed out that E-Health Pay is the electronic payment platform designated by most large hospitals. It currently has 1.4 million registered members, while the number of app downloads has exceeded 1.54 million. In the seven years since its launch, the cumulative transaction amount has reached NT$35 billion, and the monthly transaction amount reaches up to NT$700 million. 151 medical institutions including Chang Gung Memorial Hospital, Mackay Memorial Hospital, China Medical University Hospital, and Kaohsiung Medical University Hospital, as well as 30 credit card issuing banks have joined the cooperation.

Hsiao-tung Li explained that the reason E-Health Pay chose to partner with Zingala was not only for the convenience of payment, but also because some people without credit cards are unable to link their payment methods when they use the app. Alternatively, they may have low credit limits, which can lead to their hesitation and delays in seeking medical help when faced with high medical expenses not covered by the National Health Insurance. Zingala is perfect for addressing this problem. People can assess their repayment ability and apply for Zingala membership. After verification and obtaining a credit limit, they can use the Zingala option in the E-Health Pay app and receive the medical care they need as soon as possible.

Zingala is Taiwan's leading “no card installment payment” brand, with over 20 years of experience in Taiwan, boasting over 1.4 million members and over 40,000 partner merchants. It primarily targets consumers aged 20 and over, including new graduates and stay-at-home mothers, offering them an optimal digital installment experience. It consistently ranks among the top 20 financial apps in Taiwan, earning a 4.5-star rating from active members.
