Chailease Holding ranked in the top 1% by the S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook

Chailease Holding has been selected for the fifth consecutive year in the S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook, a leading international sustainability assessment organization. The 2026 Sustainability Yearbook informed that Chailease ranks among the top 1% in the Diversified Financial Services and Capital Markets sector.

The S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook selects companies based on their Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA) scores within the top 15% of their industry and must achieve a CSA Score within 30% of their industry’s top-performing company.

Over 9,200 companies were assessed in the 2025 CSA. Only 848 companies, across 59 industries, were among the top performing companies selected for Yearbook inclusion this year.

Chailease stated that it has been selected for the Dow Jones Sustainability Indices World Index and Emerging Markets Index since 2020, and was included in the S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook the following years as well.

Chailease has been promoting sustainable development, implementing business strategies and extending its influence with stakeholders from environmental, social, and governance performance.

Chailease announced recently that it has been approved by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), confirming its carbon reduction targets and pathways, which meet the net-zero standard for financial institutions.

Chailease commits to achieving an absolute reduction of 42% in greenhouse gases in Categories 1 and 2 by 2030, compared to the 2023 base year. Category 3, Section 15, focuses on intensity reduction targets, including equity investments and SME financing, covering real estate, fossil fuel equipment, and the steel and cement industries.

Chailease values corporate social responsibility, actively invests in sustainability and gained international recognition, including being included in the MSCI ESG rating for 12 consecutive years, achieving the highest rating of AAA in 2025 and consistently maintaining a B rating in the CDP Climate Change category for 5 consecutive years.

Chailease was listed as one of Best Taiwan Global Brands for 12 consecutive years by the Taiwan Institute of Economic Research and awarded the Sports Activist Awards by the Ministry of Sports for 5 consecutive years, and its talent development program won the Excellence in Practice Award and BEST Award from the Association for Talent Development 5 times.

Chailease has been committing inclusive finance and assisting SMEs and MSMEs in improving their operational capabilities and practicing ESG, it cooperated with the Small and Medium Enterprise Association to hold SME Strategy Forums, published books of “Taiwan SMEs Growth Story” with Business Weekly, advanced SME ESG self-assessment guidance with the Taiwan Institute of Economic Research and promoted ESG courses, research and reports with media.
